I want to use an item (i.e. scale, diagram, tool) in my research paper. How do I get permission to use this?

When using an item (tool, scale, diagram, etc) from a published article in your own research, you will need to ask for the copyright holder's permission. This may/may not be the author. View the link below for instructions.
