Can the library help me with APA formatting?

Answer

The Library has an APA Citation guide. See the link for more details.

The Writing Center would be the best place to get assistance for questions about APA style as well as help with proofreading, formatting, organizing your ideas and more. Click the link below for more information.

Most databases, however, do have a option that will show you the reference citation in various academic writing styles including APA. This can be of help but should not replace learning how to properly use APA. The databases are not foolproof so you need to be able to spot and fix an error should you see one.

The Library and the Success Center have copies of the APA manual available although it's recommended that most students purchase one since it's used in most classes.
