How much does it cost to get an article or books through Interlibrary Loan?

Answer

There is no charge to get articles or books through Interlibrary Loan. You may submit your request from the link in the databases, or you may use the request an article link under Library Services. Please use discretion when requesting an abundant number of articles.

Most articles arrive within a day or two, but to be on the safe side please allow up to 4 days for the article to be sent to you via email. Books may take up to 2 weeks or more to get from another library via the postal system. Interlibrary Loan books are shipped to us directly and then available through campus pickup or we can mail to you if you are outside the local area. Borrowers are responsible for return postage which is usually low cost when using Library or Media Mail rates.
